Well...that's the question isn't it. That's what almost everyone asks when you tell them you're a photographer.

I've never liked it. I always felt it prioritised the wrong things for photographers. It made an entire industry dance to it's tune and then decided that a different format made it more money.

You won't find many photographers that like Instagram anymore. Most play the game but hate chasing the ever changing algorithm.

You won't find me on Instagram now either because my account was logged out, and according to every password reset, doesn't exist. It still does of course, but shows no posts...despite showing a post count. Whatever! Whether it got hacked, or errored out or I somehow managed to upset the algorithm, I don't know. All I know is I can't access my account anymore. I won't lose any sleep over it.

Update — apparently this was a widespread issue affecting a lot of people. I'm still getting rid of it!
